They are a start-up, backed by one of the founders/investors of PANW, Imperva and Checkpoint and so they want to disrupt the industry they have previously built by enabling the largest of companies to finally solve securities greatest challenge – its complexity.
They are based from the US, have around 120 employees and already in Q4, in EMEA they closed $10m worth of business with some of the largest enterprise over here. Emerald is now helping them establish a presence here so that they can continue to grow and develop the core regions in Europe.
Skills and Requirements
DACH is vital to this plan and so we are looking for a Regional Sales Director. Essentially a start-up specialist, someone who is happy to look at their biggest accounts and the territory, set a strategy both directly and indirectly and then scale the business by hiring a team of people long term; sales, presales, marketing, channel, essentially all the core functions needed to make DACH a true success.
- An understanding of the DACH market – biggest accounts, best partners, how to go to market
- Sales athlete or start-up builder
- Knowledge of the complex security products i.e. deals typically of $500k plus
- Someone who is well connected with in the top 40 accounts in Germany, DACH
