Location: Dubai, UAE

Our client, a large, multinational vendor of analytic data platforms, applications and data warehousing, is looking for an experienced Account Executive based in Dubai, UAE. Working alongside a PreSales engineer, the successful candidate will focus on selling into customers in the Finance and Aviation vertical markets across the GCC territory (excluding Saudi Arabia and Egypt).

The ideal individual will have a strong background in Big Data Analytics, Data Warehousing and/or Business Intelligence solutions. The role will include up to 50% travel across the specified region.

Skills and Requirements

  • Minimum 10+ years’ vendor or SI solution sales experience
  • 2-3 years’ experience selling complex technology solutions incorporating hardware, software and professional / technical services
  • Strong background selling to the Finance and / or Aviation sector(s) in the GCC
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing and/or CRM technology
  • Demonstrable success in building, elevating and nurturing relationships within key customer accounts resulting in increased revenue growth
  • High level strategic planning skills
  • Proven customer relationship skills, with experience interfacing with customers at Executive / Director level on a regular basis
  • Capacity to travel to, and meet with customers within, the entire territory
  • Language requirements: English (fluent written and verbal)
