Objective

To work with Emerald on a retained basis commencing in 2012 to build their first ever UK enterprise sales team.

Solution

Emerald successfully sourced and placed seven ‘A-player’ sales individuals in the UK – including a strategic Public Sector specialist. We also placed an SME for their Voice of the Customer solution; the first role of its kind in the UK, which required a highly specific skill set. Emerald have subsequently placed the first salespeople on the ground for Qualtrics in Southern Europe, the Nordics & the Benelux region, as well as the Heads of Operations, Channels and Pre-Sales for EMEA.

Results

  • Placed the fastest growth enterprise team from a standing start in Qualtrics’ history
  • The first team to a $1m quarter and currently one of the top 5 billing teams worldwide
  • They achieved 112% against target in 2016 and 300% YTD growth
  • Staffed out the EMEA leadership team and first sales teams on the ground in various territories to support continued expansion

Qualtrics continues to retain Emerald as their exclusive search partner and trusted advisor, in support of their immense growth and aggressive European hiring plans. We have completed over 40 assignments to date in the UK and the broader European team.
