To make 18 key hires in December 2012 including VP, Sales, GM, Country Managers, Evangelists, Presales and Partner Sales at this crucial stage of the company’s growth.

By taking on such a comprehensive project to build the entire EMEA team from the ground up, Couchbase trusted Emerald to take a large burden of workload away from the GM so that he could completely focus on growing the business.

  • In 2013 the business grew by 583% thanks to the efforts of the candidates Emerald placed, and EMEA became their top performing region

What's next?

Couchbase continued to work with Emerald on an exclusive basis, until their growth began to slow and their initial EMEA expansion met a natural conclusion.

Having worked with Emerald whilst at Terracotta, it seemed a natural choice to choose them again as my Search Consultancy.
